Delivery Area Cloaking Device

The Delivery Area Cloaking Device is used to temporarily mask or shunt an alarm loop in a delivery area to facilitate deliveries.

Description

The Delivery Area Cloaking Device is designed to temporarily mask or shunt an alarm sensor in the delivery area of a premises where access to the area would normally trigger an alarm or access timer for exit entry. It would normally be used when an approved delivery agent is allowed access to an area for delivering and an appropriate signal is generated by the access control system or delivery control system and this signal is connected to the Delivery Area Cloaking Device (DACD).  Additionally It can be used to replace the contact on the exit entry access door with the in built reed switch. Using this technique the alarm system can remain in an armed state thus protecting the remaining area while the delivery is in progress.
